Oxford Instruments has introduced new software for the company’s Asylum Research atomic force microscopes (AFMs).
Ergo is reportedly based on the company’s AZtec software interface used with electron microscope analyzers. The software features a streamlined workflow guide and intelligent algorithms which can automatically calculate the best imaging settings to achieve consistent, high-quality images, the company said. Ergo focuses on high resolution topographic images, which for many researchers comprises the main AFM usage.
‘Ergo works alongside Asylum’s Igor Pro-based software,’ said Jacob Viani, product manager at Asylum Research. ’Together, the combination provides unmatched flexibility for both routine measurements and ground-breaking advanced research.’
