Tungsten alloy handbook

The MPIF reports that the Tungsten Heavy Alloy Handbook, written by Dr Randall M German, is now available for purchase through its website.

According to the organization the handbook covers applications, compositions, fabrication, properties, microstructures, and modeling of sintered tungsten heavy alloys. It features 27 sections composed of small segments and is organized in terms of process options, applications, compositions, shaping, measurement tools, sintering, heat treatment, embrittlement and microstructures, the MPIF says.

The 458-page publication is available in full color pdf format for US$185 (US$148 member price).
