GKN Sinter Metals says that it has received the Perfect Quality Award from Nexteer Automotive, a steering and driveline business.
GKN produces components for hydraulic power steering pumps for Nexteer and reportedly supplied products with zero defects over a 12-month period to quality for this award.
‘We are honored that our customer has recognized us for our quality performance,’ said Dave Hickoff, Americas sales director. ‘This award validates the impact of the great technology development we've progressed in our PM division and reassures us that our processes are successful and effective.’
