Sandvik presents range at Oil & Gas Asia 2015

Sandvik Materials Technology, a developer and producer of stainless steels, special alloys and titanium is showcasing its technologies and materials at Oil and Gas Asia (OGA 2015), Asia’s largest oil and gas industry event.

‘Asia as a region continues to grow in prominence as it holds significant offshore oil and gas resources,’ said Benno Wagner, regional sales and marketing manager oil & gas, Asia Pacific at Sandvik. ‘With the current energy landscape where reserves are hanging in the balance, coupled with increasingly extreme environments, it is important for the overall industry to work together to overcome these challenges.

‘The industry is constantly seeking a higher level of requirements in yield strength as well as fracture toughness and specification, as conditions in remote oil and gas fields get increasingly harsh over the years.’

Sandvik Materials Technology will present a wide range of corrosion-resistant products and omponents made with powder metallurgy hot isostatic pressing (HIP).
