Motion control company Kyntronics has developed a new high speed/high force (HSHF) single cylinder all-in-one actuator for clamping and pressing.
According to the company, the actuator is scaleable, modular, and self-contained with no hoses. It employs a High Speed (HS) cylinder which can vary depending on desired speeds and tool weights. Using a patent pending process, the system can leverage valves to control the pump flow to either the HS or HF cylinder, and the motion program can control position, force, and speed in four quadrants throughout any position in the HF cylinder.
