The company has installed a 630 tonnes-capacity press alongside 14 other presses in a new production unit, which will also see the installation of two presses with capacities of 300 and 400 tonnes plus a sintering furnace from Cremer Thermoprozessanlagen GmbH.
The 100 million Rubles investment could see Uralelectromed's powder metal production increase from 400 tonnes in 2011, to up to 800 tonnes by 2016, ipmd.net writes.
