The company says it will erect a new production hall with a new isostatic press at its Kapfenberg site in Austria.
The new pressure vessel will be pressurised at 1000 bar for condensing powder metal materials.
“With this investment we are once again strengthening our Kapfenberg site. We offer materials that give our cusomters that competitive edge,” says Franz Rotter, Executive Board Member of Böhler Edelstahl's parent company voestalpine AG, and head of the Special Steel Divison.
Böhler Edelstahl is a global manufacturer of high-speed steels, tool steels and special steel.
