Materials specialist Sandvik says that it has launched four sustainability goals for 2030.
‘We understand the need for the world to make the shift to new business models and new thinking, in line with United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement,’ the company said.
Sandvik’s sustainability goals cover four areas: circularity, climate change, safety and fair play.
‘We have defined a number of enablers that will help drive the change. We will for example integrate the goals into the performance management systems and incentive programs; we will initiate a sustainability idea program and use the power of an effective and efficient governance to keep focus on the goals across all business areas,’ Sandvik added.
