Sandvik has been included as a member of the FTSE4Good Index Series in its semi-annual review 2020.
The index is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, the company said. Sandvik has been a member for 16 consecutive years.
‘This is yet another very positive evidence of the results of our continuous efforts in developing sustainability through our products, services and our own operations,’ said Håkan Sundström, acting head of sustainable business at Sandvik.
