REM Surface Engineering Hosts AGMA Aerospace Gearing Committee

REM Surface Finishing, developer of the ISF Process, recently hosted the AGMA Aerospace Gearing Committee meeting at its facility in Southington, Conn. The AGMA Aerospace Gearing Committee determines special considerations required for gears used in aerospace applications.

Twelve engineers from across the United States and Canada attended the two-day event, which included a tour of REM's facility and an evening meal at a historic Water Mill restaurant.

"REM Surface Engineering was pleased to host the May meeting of the AGMA Aerospace Gearing Committee,” said Mark Michaud, REM Surface Finishing president and AGMA committee member. “This technical committee is working on updating the specification, 'Design Guidelines for Aerospace Gearing' and recently completed work on the technical sheet, Aerospace Bevel Gears.” For more information, please visit REM Surface Finishing online.
