The EPMA has named the winners of its thesis competion.
In the doctorate category Dr Thomas Lapauw of KU Leuven, Belgium won an award for his thesis, ‘Mn+1 AXn Phase-Structured Carbides for Nuclear Applications’, while in the masters category, Dipl-Ing Kevin Ouda of TU Wien, Austria won for his thesis entitled ‘Determination Of Retained Austenite In Differently Alloyed Steels By Magnetic Measurements’.
