The new acquisition will be known as Pioneer Metal Finishing’s Carolinas Division and will continue to offer Type II and III anodizing and conversion coatings. Additional services including electroless nickel will be added. As a result of the acquisition, Jeff Sperber and Ann Marie Sperber will relocate to Gaffney to become the plant manager and office manager, respectively. Both are Pioneer veterans with more than 10 years of experience in operations, sales and customer service.
Beyond the newly acquired facility in Gaffney, S.C., Pioneer Metal Finishing, operates plants in Green Bay and Oshkosh, Wis.; Monroe, Mich.; Minneapolis, Minn.; and Portland, Ore. Pioneer’s technologies reach into many industries, including aerospace, medical, defense, automotive, and transportation.
