PCI Awards 2018 scholarships

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) has awarded its 2018 scholarships to students who are studying various subjects that can lead to a career in powder coating.  

The criteria for the awards include specific studies and projects relevant to powder coating technology, transcript/GPA, future goals, qualifications, and a letter of recommendation from an  adviser. ’The deserving recipients represent the future of our industry and PCI is pleased to support their goals,’ said Trena Benson, PCI executive director.  

The students awarded scholarships this year. Are Alison Rohly, North Dakota State University, Hayden Castagno, Brigham Young University-Idaho, Emily Chojecki, Purdue University, Alexis Corda, Purdue University, Maggie Sackse, University of Oregon and Alyson Sillin, University of Oregon.

The 2018 PCI Scholarship Program awarded US$25,000 in total, which includes donations of $5,000 from corporate donors.
