PCI announces 2023 scholarship recipients

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) has awarded its 2023 scholarships to US students studying subjects that can lead to a career in powder coating.

“PCI members are always looking for young, motivated talent to grow their businesses,” said executive director Kevin Coursin. “As such, PCI is committed, along with our corporate partners, to provide the scholarship program for individuals that might be interested in working in the powder coating industry.

The organization added an eighth corporate scholarship this year, increasing the total award funding  available to US$50,000.

The 2023 corporate scholarship were awarded to Scott Andreae, University of Wisconsin; Cameron Greeson, Purdue University; Haley Evenson, South Dakota State University; Logan Bell, Bowling Green State University; and Siavash Mansouri, Shokoofeh Ghasemi, Michael Odegaard, and Joseph Dahlgren all from North Dakota State University.

The PCI general scholarships were awarded to Addison Boyette, University of Southern Mississippi; Tyler Kleinsasser, South Dakota School of Mines; Daniel Knecht, University of Cincinnati; and Chameli Samarawickrema (pictured), North Dakota State University.
