Makin Metals has appointed Michael Yan as its East Asia sales manager, representing China, Korea and Japan. Yan will take on this role as well as retaining his role as export sales manager for GRIPM, Makin’s mother company.
Since 2013, previously Michael has worked in the role of international sales manager for GRINM (Beijing General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals) for 10 years. In these roles he has gained experience in the sales and marketing department of both GRINM, and GRIPM. He covers a number of varied industry sectors of nonferrous metals materials including rare earth materials, magnesium alloy, aluminum alloy, optical coating materials and refractory metals materials.
