Following the introduction of the insert grade GC4325 in October 2013, Sandvik Coromant has added GC4315 and GC3330. All three grades feature Inveio, a process that allows the crystal orientation in the inserts’ CVD alumina coating to be controlled, creating a strong barrier towards the cutting zone and chip.
GC4325 suitable for steel turning, while GC3330 is suitable for milling in cast iron materials.
