Sam O’Leary, current COO of 3D printing company SLM Solutions, has been appointed its new CEO following the resignation of current CEO Meddah Hadjar.
‘Personal circumstances related to his family created a situation that does not allow him to continue to serve as CEO of SLM Solutions,’ a press release said referring to Hadjar.
Meddah will remain connected to SLM Solutions by becoming an advisor to the company and has been considered to join the supervisory board of SLM Solutions Group AG.
‘Sam has played an integral part in successfully rebuilding SLM Solutions since he joined the company,’ said Thomas Schweppe, chairman of the supervisory board. In addition to his current portfolio O’Leary will take over the responsibilities for corporate development, strategy and HR.
