Skipp was recognized for his service and dedication to the mission and goals of the NACD and the chemical distribution industry at large. He received his award during the general session of NACD’s Annual Meeting, where he was commended for his unwavering service to NACD. Skipp was also recognized for strong and positive leadership both on the regional and national level.
Skipp has served as chairman of NACD since January 1, 2011. Prior to that, he was a member of the NACD Executive Committee for four years. Since joining Hubbard-Hall, Inc., in 1977-- and coming up through the sales ranks -- Skipp has led the company to record profit growth year after year, positioning Hubbard-Hall as one of the most respected independent distributors in the business.
