The MPIF has elected Dean Howard, president of North American Höganäs, as its 30th president, succeeding John F Sweet.
Jill Spaulding, Kymera International, has also been elected president of the Metal Powder Producers Association (MPPA) and, like Howard, will serve a two-year term.
According to the MPIF, Howard has worked for North American Höganäs Co for nearly 20 years. He most recently served as president of the MPPA and received MPIF’s Distinguished Service to Powder Metallurgy Award in 2017. He has also been a member of APMI International and served as president from 2010–2014.
