Chinese graphene company the Sixth Element Materials Technology says that it has received a major order from telecommunications company Huawai, which will fill its current capacity to a major extend till end of 2019. The company added that ‘this customer will further increase its demand beyond the current order starting 2020’.
The Sixth Element is a developer of graphene products including graphene oxide and graphene powder products and suspensions. Its materials are suitable for anti-corrosion coatings for marine applications, automotive tyre treads, in thermoplastics and fibers. New products for batteries, energy storage, reinforced plastics, coatings and adhesives are also being developed.
