Boost for applied graphene

Applied Graphene Materials, which makes graphene materials, is pleased to announce its interim results for the period ended 31 January 2018.

The company says that it has made ‘significant commercial progress within the coatings sector’ with a number of customers in the automotive and composites sector.

With James Briggs Limited the company is continuing an accelerated product development program with a view to early market exploitation of graphene.

‘In recent months we have seen increased commercial momentum in our core markets with a number of key collaborations now reaching the final stages of approval,’ said Jon Mabbitt, CEO. ‘Within the composites sector, significant interest is being shown in Structural Ink and during the current year we expect to accelerate the technology’s commercial program. Opportunities within the sector vary immensely, both in application and quantum, but ultimately the automotive and aerospace industries offer the greatest long-term potential.’
