The milling insert grade, Beyond KPM20, is for high-speed dry machining and light to medium million of steel and stainless steel under stable conditions.
The insert are chemical vapour deposition (CVD) coated and undergo a post-coat treatment on all surfaces to reduce tensile stress.
The grade is said to result in more uniform and reliable wear of the cutting edge, and smoother surfaces reduce friction.
