The award-winning plants are located in Germantown, Wisconsin, St. Mary's/Kersey, Philadelphia, Conover, North Carolina in the US and Bad Brueckenau, Germany. This is the second year in a row that GKN has received this award at multiple plants.
This achievement means GKN Sinter Metals is within the top 5% of all General Motor's global suppliers. The award recognizes GM suppliers who have demonstrated the highest levels of quality performance over the previous 12 months and winners must meet or exceed a stringent set of quality performance criteria along with cross-functional support of the entire GM organization.
GKN Sinter Metals supplies GM with a range of products for engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components from these locations including main bearing caps, aluminium camshaft caps and clutch plates.
