Concept Laser partnership to expand 3D printing reach

Software developer GoEngineer and 3D printing company Concept Laser have entered into an agreement to increase their presence in the metal additive manufacturing (AM) market. GoEngineer, which operates 18 training and support centers in the US, will help market Concept Laser’s portfolio of machines.

‘The relationship with Concept Laser presents a powerful opportunity for GoEngineer to understand and assist our customers as they develop strategies to move into the metals market while minimizing risk,’ said Brad Hansen, CEO of GoEngineer.

The two organizations recently jointly produced a race car chassis. GoEngineer designed the metal chassis using laser scanners, topology improvement software, and parametric CAD tools. The metal chassis was built on the Concept Laser M2 cusing machine in aluminum.
