The symposium is being sponsored by ASTM International Committee B10 on Reactive and Refractory Metals and Alloys.
The aim of the ASTM's symposium is to provide a forum for exchanging new information on the fabrication, testing, development and characterization of both traditional and new zirconium-based materials in the nuclear industry. This includes materials performance during normal, transient and accident conditions as well as materials behaviour during intermediate and long-term storage conditions. Of particular interest are studies that focus on identifying and understanding the mechanism of zirconium-based materials behaviour.
Online registration is now open and closes on 30 January. The attendance fee for ASTM members, presenters and session chairs is US$480 USD for online registration and US$505 USD onsite. The fee for non-ASTM members is US$505 USD online and US$530 onsite.
