This annual award, presented by ASTM Committee B10 on Reactive and Refractory Metals and Alloys, honours outstanding accomplishments in the science and technology of reactive and refractory metals and alloys.
Sutherlin is the fifth ATI Wah Chang employee to receive this ASTM award and was recognised for his contributions to the development of applications for reactive and refractory metals to be used in corrosive environments, with specific focus on zirconium, titanium and niobium.
