ASTM awards metal coating prize

Michael Kerner, code development manager with ClarkDietrich Building Systems, has received the Kenneth J. Boedecker, Jr. Distinguished Service Award from ASTM International Committee A05 on Metallic-Coated Iron and Steel Products.

He won the award for his contributions to the development of standards non-metallic-coated iron and steel. Committee A05 also awarded Kerner with the Award of Appreciation in 2013.

Outside of ASTM, Kerner is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute.
