Metrology company GOM is running a series of technology days covering its ATOS scanning technology for gas turbines, aerospace and power generation applications.

The company says that it also plans to present a new 3D scanner suitable for the inspection of small objects with challenging edge geometries.

The event takes place at three locations:

  • 26 September 2019, in Braunschweig, Germany
  • 17 October 2019, in Detroit, USA
  • 12 November 2019, in Shanghai, China

According to GOM, Optical 3D metrology can improve manufacturing processes for ceramic cores and cast and forged parts.
