Pure copper powder for AM

Digital Metal, Höganäs’ 3D printing business, has launched a pure copper metal powder suitable for used in its metal binder jetting additive manufacturing (AM) machines.

According to the company, the thermal and electrical conductivity properties of pure copper make it suitable for a wide range of applications such as electronics, heat exchangers, heat sinks and engine parts. Copper is also recognized for its antibacterial properties.
