New range of abrasive milling tools

Element Six has launched a new range of heavy-duty tools designed for milling and reclaiming operations.

The HD Series incorporates a larger body and washer disc with Element Six’s MasterGrade carbide material. The tools’ larger body has more steel, helping extend tool life and increase wear resistance, the company said.

According to Element Six, the carbide is made using its proprietary nanotechnology process which can improve the cobalt binder matrix and reduce wear without impacting the bit’s toughness.

‘The HD Series will provide milling and reclaiming operations with improved overall performance and flexibility to ensure that the tool matches the application in question,’ said Markus Bening, sales director at Element Six.
