Webinar on metal 3D printing

The webinar, which is timed at 2 pm EST will address the latest developments in 3D printing and how the technology is applied in the metalworking industry.

Presenters include Dr John Lewandowski, professor at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), and Todd Rockstroh, consulting engineer for GE Aviation.  Lewandowski, who heads the CWRU Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Reliability Center, will be presenting a survey of additive manufacturing with a focus on commercially available metal systems.  His presentation also addresses potential and existing constraints, while Rockstroh will discuss GE’s next-generation’s initiatives to manufacture jet-engine components using 3D printing.
