Wallwork Group says that it plans to showcase a range of heat treatment and ultra-hard coating services at the Made in The Midlands event, which highlights technology from the UK, taking place on 20 June in Birmingham, UK. ‘The Midlands and surrounding area represents a significant customer base, so we are pleased to be exhibiting again at MIM in their 10th anniversary year,’ said Howard Maher, sales manager. ‘Wallwork Birmingham, based in Smallheath, is one of our busiest group members.’ Wallwork is situated close to the UK’s huge motorsport cluster, where it can supply its metal component heat treatments and plasma vapor deposition (PVD) for top racing teams. Recent developments in the Birmingham facility also include additional capacity for the processing of aluminium components and more vacuum furnaces for aerospace manufacture.
