The subsidiary was first announced in July.
According to the company, demand for its laser melting systems in the US was already high and developments over the last two to three years have made it necessary to create a regional structure so that sales and service tasks can be quickly dealt with on-site.
The company expects the capacity of the US business to be extended even further and will aos ve strengthening activities in China.
