Union Process Inc, a manufacturer of particle size reduction equipment, has expanded its line of grinding media.

‘Up to this point, we have concentrated on selling grinding media appropriate for our Attritor fine grinding mills and DMQX beadmilling equipment,’ said vice president of sales, Emery Li. ‘As our reputation has grown as a trusted supplier of grinding media, we have expanded our offering to now include two new options for grinding media, one of which is appropriate for ball mills rather than Attritors.’

High chrome cast balls are suitable for Attritors and ball mills (depending on the size of the media) and are available in a wide range of sizes with a hardness of 58-60 HRC. Forged steel balls are appropriate for ball mills and are also available in a wide range of sizes. This low cost media has a hardness of 55-63 HRC.
