Umicore reports that An Steegen, CTO and member of the management board, will leave the company in September 2021 to become co-CEO of Barco, a technology company listed in Belgium.
‘An has been a key contributor to our management board since she joined the company in 2018 and I would like to thank her for her contribution and engagement,’ said Umicore CEO Marc Grynberg. ‘She has helped us shape our technology and sustainability roadmaps and position Umicore well for mid- and long-term developments.’
Steegen’s successor will be announced at a later date.
