The first, entitled Preparation for Better Sintering, takes place from 18–21 July and covers the fundamental and advanced commercial aspects of the ferrous sintering process, while Sintering for Increased Throughput takes place from 24–27 July builds off the knowledge and skills gained in the first course and covers the role of temperature, atmosphere composition/flow, and time at temperature (belt speed), and how they can be optimised, the company said.
