Date set for summer sintering

TAT Technologies is hosting two powdered metal sintering courses this July, in St Mary’s PA, USA.

Preparation for Better Sintering takes place from 17– 20 July, and covers the best practices to ensure complete delubing, oxide reduction, and diffusion of admixed graphite into parts prior to sintering. Other topics will be covered, such as the role of temperature, atmosphere flow and composition, and time.

Sintering Ferrous PM takes place from 23–26 July and builds on the information gained in the first course to teach students practical, production-oriented lessons about conventional PM sintering process. The key objective with this course is to help students learn how to increase production rates and lower sintering costs.
