Sandvik acquires software manufacturer

Sandvik has acquired Canadian company Postability, which makes computer aided manufacturing (CAM) post processing, machine simulation and maintenance software.

Postability was founded in 2008, and is headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. In 2022, the company had revenues of approximately SEK 30 million (CAD 4.1 million).

“The acquisition of Postability fits very well with our strategic focus to grow in the digital manufacturing space, and is an important complement to our CAM solutions offering,” said Stefan Widing, president and CEO of Sandvik.
