Rockford Metal Polishing Company (RMP), the Loves, Park-Ill.-based finisher specializing in metal polishing, buffing, mass finishing, O.D. tube polishing, and bead blasting, recently purchased a new Garboli LPC 300 orbital grinding machine. The new machine will give RMP the ability to polish up to 20 ft. long and 4 ft. wide tubing. In addtion, the investmen—the latest of several capital equipment purchases made over the past few years—twill give RMP the capability to polish bent, oval, and elliptical tubing. “We are very excited about the possibilities this machine gives our company,” said John Gagliano, director of sales at RMP. “Over the past year we have been receiving inquiries about polishing tubes, which, up until now, we were unable to process.
