Plansee is further expanding its production capacity in Korea. The company opened a sales office in Seoul 12 years ago and acquired a Korean company five years ago.
The new Plansee office is located in Dongtan, near to important key customers in Korea, and is due to start operation at the end of 2016. The existing Plansee production and sales locations in Korea are to be brought together under one roof.
‘It is our customers in the display and semiconductor industries that will benefit from the increased capacity,’ said Bernhard Schretter, member of the board of directors of Plansee. ‘The construction of our own facilities underscores our long-term commitment to Korea.’
