Norsk Titanium AS (NTi) has appointed Chet Fuller as chief commercial officer.

Fuller will lead NTi’s sales and marketing, product strategy and contracts teams, driving the expansion of commercial sales and marketing activity, as well as revenue management. He will report to the newly appointed president and CEO Warren M Boley.

Fuller’s career spans more than three decades in the aviation industry at large multinational aerospace and aviation companies as well as serving as independent counsel to aerospace  and defense investors, business leaders, and consulting companies.

He was recently president of the GE Aviation civil systems division and chief marketing officer of GE Aviation.

Industrial scale

NTi is in the final stages of undergoing required approvals for what it says will be the world’s first industrial scale direct metal deposition (DMD) manufacturing facility. The transition of the company’s manufacturing operations to the US is part of a long-term strategy to commercialize the application of 3D printing technology for titanium components.

‘NTi technology fundamentally changes the aerospace titanium market and I look forward to working with NTi’s leadership team to establish our manufacturing operations in the US and advance our strategy to bring NTI’s revolutionary technology to the aerospace and industrial markets worldwide,’ said Fuller.
