MPIF short course in August

MPIF will be holding its next Basic Powder Metallurgy Short Course from 10–12 August at the Penn State Conference Center Hotel, Pennsylvania, USA.

The intensive three-day course, offered for the 51st consecutive year, now includes a session on additive manufacturing (AM). Included in the registration fee are all speaker handouts, textbooks and Standard 35, a certificate of completion, and multiple breakfasts and lunches. Participation at this course counts toward PMT re-certification credits.

This short course is designed for a range of people, including individuals starting out in the field and looking for an introduction to PM, those updating their knowledge of recent developments in PM, those seeking to expand their current knowledge of the PM industry in order to improve their advancement opportunities, those specialized in one area of PM and looking to broaden their background in the field, and users of PM components who would appreciate a better understanding of the value they are receiving.
