The award was given by the GM Mexico Powertrain Division to its suppliers. Metaldyne’s Ramos Arizpe plant earned a top score on quality performance, with zero PRR (problem report resolutions), zero PPM (parts rejected per million) and 100% on-time delivery, as well as support from the GM purchasing department and design release engineers.

GM was the first customer for which Metaldyne Mexico supplied fully machined powder forged connecting rods.
