Hudson previously held roles as president and CEO of Aerodyn Engineering and machine building company Mitsui Seiki USA. During his time, he was involved in the development of five-axis micro-precision laser cutting, laser ablation systems for turbine airfoil shaped cooling holes and hybrid 3D printing and machining systems, Meld said.

Meld PrintWorks is part of Meld Manufacturing Corporation and specializes in large scale 3D printing of aluminum, titanium, and copper alloys.
