German 3D printing company SLM has appointed Kingsbury to sell its products and services to the British and Irish markets.
This includes the company’s selective laser melting (SLM) additive manufacturing (AM) machines which can produce parts from aluminum, titanium, nickel, cobalt, iron and copper alloys. SLM’s NXG XII 600 mm cube machine with up to 12 lasers will also be available, the company says. ‘We are delighted to be able to offer such a comprehensive range of production-oriented powder bed AM solutions,’ said Kingsbury MD, Richard Kingsbury. ‘We see the technology, with the freedom of design that it brings to production, becoming increasingly important as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, as it will enable manufacturing industry to innovate and become more competitive.’
