To cover the expanding Asian PM market, Mate now operates from four locations on the continent, including in China, Hong Kong, India, and Eastern Russia. As part of its expansion into the Asian market, Mate participated in exhibitions and conferences in China and organized a seminar in India, including the 2012 Shanghai PM Expo and The Powder Metallurgy Technology and Business Forum, which was held in Jinhua, China. Mate also plans to take part in the PM2012 – Powder Metallurgy World Congress and Exhibition in Japan, where it will display developments in ceramic and MIM in China and India.
As well as this, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India (IIT Bombay), Mate organised what it says is the first seminar on MIM in India. The seminar attracted 38 attendants from more than 20 companies.
