The Group is a technical working group of the German Powder Metallurgy Committee, organized by the Society as well as the German Ceramic Society (DKG), the Steel Institute VDEh, the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and the German Powder Metallurgy Association. The group aims at promoting MIM technology and allows manufacturers of MIM parts to meet with partners from the fields of metal powder and feedstock supply, producers of injection molding machines and furnaces for heat treatment, and research institutes.
