Mantle receives start up award

Mantle, a company that uses metal 3D printing for toolmaking, has won an additive manufacturing (AM) start up award from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

The company says that it was selected as a winner for its TrueShape 3D printing technology, which it says can reduce the cost and lead times to produce tooling while improving tool design.

“The award is a significant achievement and a major milestone for the company, demonstrating the potential of its technology and [its] ability to make a significant impact on the precision tooling market,” said Paul DiLaura, CCO, Mantle.
