LPW Technology will be showing its Total Powder Manufacturing (TPM) additive manufacturing (AM) system at TCT Asia.
‘The Asian market is developing rapidly and like the rest of the world is moving its Additive Manufacturing focus away from prototyping to medium and low volume manufacturing, focused on Aerospace and Medical production applications,’ the company said in a press release.
TPM is a whole process system during which LPW supplies metal powder, monitors it during reuse within the AM machine, through to scrapping and disposal to ensure the process is as repeatable as possible.
‘We have been very impressed with how quickly customers in Asia, especially in China, have moved from development through to production, especially in demanding applications in tooling, aerospace, and medical,’ said Phil Kilburn, Commercial Director for LPW.
TCT Asia takes place from 10–12 March 2016 in Shanghai, China.
