Docent is the highest scientific title awarded to someone who is not employed at a university, the company says.
“I’m very happy as it is a professional acknowledgement,” said Dizdar.
The title docent gives him right to teach and supervise on all university levels, as well as serve as faculty examiner and participate in grading committees during the public defense of doctoral theses.
“I would like to congratulate Senad,” said Hans Söderhjelm, vice president market and product development. “The award strengthens Höganäs’ ties to the university and is a confirmation of the high level of our scientific work.”
In October, Höganäs PM specialist Jan Tengzelius received the EPMA Distinguished Service Award.
